In its current form, yes the Thirty Day Challenge is dead. Do not fear though because it has already been reborn as something even better. That is what Ed Dale is reporting on his blog.
So just what was wrong with the 30DC 1.0?
Well according to the research the 30 DC team did they found out that we are all real busy and we just hate getting behind our fellow challengers. After about a week people have information overload and start falling behind the daily lessons. I welcome this because it has happened to me on every challenge I have done. There is just so much work when putting a proper internet business together that it is hard not to fall behind. Seriously what else do you do for a couple hours a day 30 days in a row?
This year the Challenge is completely changing.
That is what ED Dale, one of the creators just wrote on his blog “Nobody has any time for anything else these days – how many people do you know who are blissed out and have all the time in the world… “.
So this year the 30 DC team has decided to change it all up starting with the time required for each daily lesson. The lesson and the daily action step will take no more than 30 minutes. Plus, As Ed Dale so poetically puts it “Anybody can stick at something for seven days – virtually no-one can stick at something for eight… “. With that this years challenge will be broken down into parts and those parts will be given to all us over seven days. So that is 30 minutes a day for 7 days (sounding like a BowFlex ad) to complete each part and then there is a seven day break. Seven days to enjoy watching stats and repeating some of the steps.
I am more then excited to see how the challenge goes this summer and just how the goods are given to us. If you have never done the 30 DC you can take a look. They really put on a good show and best of all it cost nothing and the who process is as easy on the wallet as possible. Check it out at http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/
Really interested in comments from anyone who has done the 30DC before. Just post them below.
